He’s careful enough to show jump, Bold enough to Event & Brave enough to cross all country Hunting – all in a snaffle with a smile on his face…
Very amateur friendly!!
Raven has hunted in Ireland with The Ward Union. He is regularly hunting with us with The EDH. Attending several busy meets – he stands politely allowing you to enjoy a port and a pasty! He has seen hounds and enjoys watching them work. He has been schooled over hedges and attended hedge hopping clinics, he is an absolute machine!! He is as brave as a lion and as clever as a cat across trappy country – he knows where all his feet are! Polite enough to stop and do a gate but he will happily sit behind the field master all day. This horse can cross county…. He will continue to hunt regularly until sold.
He has been XC schooling, SJ training (on grass and surface) and Arena Eventing whilst with us – he is always looking between the flags… He’d be a super grassroots prospect! Raven isn’t a complicated horse and would be just as happy at a lower level. He’ll happily take a miss and is clever enough to use his own initiative.
Raven works willingly on the flat, he has three balanced paces, good transitions & will take the correct leads. He is beginning to work in a contact and knows plenty for his age.
Raven has been on beach and moorland rides & enjoys being out and about. He is hacking alone & in company, regularly ridden in heavy traffic and open spaces. Raven travels in the lorry & trailer alone or in company, he has always been the same horse at home or away.
He is a versatile & talented young horse! Quality, forward thinking & bold. He has a superb brain & loves to learn, Trainability, Temperament & Talent – he really is the complete package!
His production & education with us will continue until sold.

SAMBA

Talented young horse with a well rounded start to his education – he is an exciting prospect for BE and is sure to have a bright future ahead of him!
A very sad sale of a much loved horse! Samba has been sympathetically produced by an amateur lady rider with every intention of keeping him long term – sadly time commitments have forced his sale.
Samba has been XC schooling and arena eventing training with us, he is a bold forward thinking horse that loves to jump making him a XC machine! He’s always looking for the next fence and shows superb technique. He has attended various clinics, been out SJ training (on grass and surface) and shown huge amounts of ability, he doesn’t want to touch a pole and has a careful scopey jump!
He has hunted a handful of days with The EDH, he loves to watch the hounds and is able to cross country!
Samba has three expressive paces, good transitions, will take the correct leads & is naturally balanced. He shows a trainable attitude to all of his work.
Samba is an absolutely fantastic hack! He is always confident in his surroundings – the perfect lead horse – he will hack past the heaviest of traffic and farm machinery without a second glance – he is regularly used to accompany the children on their ponies and has never let us down!
Samba has been on beach and moorland rides & enjoys being out and about. Samba travels in the lorry & trailer alone or in company.
He is a talented young horse that is sure to have a successful career ahead of him. Although there is absolutely no malice to him – he is a responsive ride that wouldn’t suit a nervous / novice rider – he’s as bold as a lion and he deserves a rider that embraces that!
He will stand to be clipped from ear to hoof without any fuss, he’s an absolute pleasure to have around the yard and a gentleman to handle!

BOLD AND BRAVE HUNTER
We’ve had some SERIOUS fun on this horse hunting! He is in his third season with us and he knows the job well. He has such a bold attitude and forward thinking brain – he is SO brave, he has jumped anything we have put in front of him! He gives you a lovely confident feeling going into a hedge and doesn’t look twice at a ditch – he’s good with the hounds, brilliant with other horses and generally very mannerly to hunt. He isn’t a horse that likes to sit and chat at the meet or plod at the back (although he will if you ask!) – he wants a rider that likes to get on with the day ahead! He has hunted with a lady rider with The TVFH attending all their Vale Days and The EDH. He has also attended Vale days with various other packs. He hunted a handful of days as a young horse with The Galway Blazers. Johnny absolutely loves following hounds!
Johnny has competed in Hunter Trials to 1m with us always placing in large classes. He is XC schooling confidently and is regularly out offering a lead to our inexperienced horses. He has been showjumping unaffiliated with us and jumped some smart rounds! He has all the ability to have a successful summer job competing in the future he just needs a rider that has the desire to build a bond with him. He has attended the SWW hedge hopping day & was an absolute MACHINE!
Johnny has been on beach and moorland rides & is regularly out and about. He has attended plenty of hunt / fun rides. He is a solid and reliable hack alone & in company, regularly ridden in the heaviest of traffic and open spaces – you could ride him through the middle of a building site – he really isn’t phased by much! He travels in the lorry & trailer alone or in company. He’s a horse that loves to work!
Johnny can be a sensitive horse, there isn’t an ounce of malice in him but he prefers a quiet and confident rider that has the desire to build a bond with him as once you have that he really will move the earth and jump the moon for you! He wouldn’t suit a nervous or unbalanced rider.
We’ve owned Johnny for over 2.5 years now and in that time he has given his rider SO much fun and experience – we absolutely adore him therefore are in no rush to sell him but we do feel that he would thrive in a 1:1 environment and he does deserve to be someone’s special horse…
